Time Travel

One thing that I am really interested in is time travel. Time travel would be great because it would answer all the questions I would want to know. We could go to the future and find out things that happen and things that get explained. We would also be able to find out some more of the questions about why we are here and get a perspective on where humanity has gone and is going. There are a number of reasonable (well reasonable when you’re speaking about time travel) options for time travel. There is a possibility that we could find a wormhole somewhere that stretches between two points in time rather than two points in space. Perhaps we could eventually learn to create our own wormholes to other times. Another option lies in black holes. Since their gravity pulls not only space, but time as well they have an effect on time. If you could pass within the event horizon of a black hole and then find someway to leave it then you would probably return in either a different time, a different space, or a different universe. But it’s impossible to pass into the event horizon and survive, let alone return, as far as we know. But Time Travel would still be awesome. One argument people have for why time travel can’t be possible is that we haven’t seen any time travelers from the future. There could be two possible reasons for this. First, they could be keeping themselves hidden so they don’t disturb the timeline. Secondly, perhaps there needs to be a time machine in existence in both the times you are leaving and entering. For example, in the situation with the wormhole, you may need some kind of machine to hold the wormhole open on both ends. So then the farthest back in time one could travel would be to the date of the invention of the time machine.
